Progress and Completions

Once you sign in, the platform tracks what you've finished and uses that to recommend what to do next. Here's how it works.

What "completion" means

A tutorial is marked complete when you do both of these:

  • Reach the final step
  • Pass the validation quiz at the end, on tutorials that have one

Tutorials without a quiz only need the last step reached — opening the final step counts. Tutorials with a quiz require a passing score; you can retake the quiz as many times as you need.

Completions are recorded against your account the moment you pass. There's nothing extra to click.

My Completions page

Signed-in users have a personal My Completions page, reachable from the user menu in the top-right. It shows:

  • Every tutorial you've completed, with the date
  • A Recent Activity timeline of your most recent completions
  • Filters so you can narrow by topic or time range

This page is for you — it isn't shared publicly.

Personalized recommendations

Based on what you've completed, the platform suggests "what's next" tutorials and missions. The recommendations blend two signals: tutorials that are similar to ones you've done well on, and tutorials that other learners with similar histories went on to complete next. The more you do, the better the suggestions get.

You'll see recommendations on your home view and on the My Completions page.

Event mode (prizes and the QR scanner)

At SAP events — TechEd, Sapphire, regional conferences — completing a designated mission earns a prize. Here's the flow:

  1. You complete every tutorial in the mission while signed in
  2. You walk up to the event team's prize counter
  3. They scan a QR code from your phone, or you read out your account number
  4. They confirm the completion and hand you the prize

Event prizes are tied to specific missions during the event window. After the event ends, your completions stay in your history — you keep credit for finishing — but the event-specific prize is closed out.

Anonymous progress

If you're not signed in, your progress lives only in the current browser. It isn't synced across devices, and it doesn't count toward event prizes. Sign in before you start a mission you want to keep.
